Opinion: Mr. Seldin, your very thorough video defending Lean Start Up over thorough Business Plan was interesting but not necessary for the students, really. I think they are quite naturally wired to go along the Lean Startup model, anyway, so need no convincing. I felt the video would confuse them, since they knew very little about Business Plans in general, and so defending or explaining the Lean Start Up over the other traditional one seemed more aimed at the adults….
I’m thinking that after the Brainstorming lesson, which is wonderful, gives the rules and the tools, what might be useful are some rules and tools around EVALUATING. How to choose amongst all the ideas that were generated? Any tools and tips around that for the students?
